Hotel Rome Rione Campo Marzio

The Hotel Campo Marzio in Rome is situated in the homonymous area, one of the most famous and rich in monuments in the entire capital city. It owes its name to the fact that this location used to be devoted to Marte, the god of war, back in the times when Rome was governed by kings. Its location in the centre of the city is undoubtedly privileged. With just a short walk we can easily reach famous artistic and cultural tourist attractions, headquarters of renowned companies, parks and shopping streets. If you prefer getting around with public transportation, you'll find the "Spagna" metro stop (line A) only 700 metres away.

The Hotel Il Campo Marzio in Rome is perfect for a holiday dedicated to exploring the city. You'll get to the Fontana di Trevi and the Tempio di Adriano in just a few minutes, and 650 metres away you'll find the iconic steps of Trinità dei Monti. There are numerous noble and cardinalitial palaces, as well as churches and basilicas, such as Chiesa della Trinità dei Monti, Basilica di Santa Maria in Montesanto, Basilica di Sant'Ambrogio and Basilica di San Carlo al Corso. About one kilometre away you'll find Pincio and its famous "passeggiata". While you're on this hill, we recommend Villa Medici, close to Trinità dei Monti. If you wish, you can also discover Casina Valadier, inside Villa Borghese. In Campo Marzio there are two important archaeological sites: Ara Pacis and the Mausoleum of Augustus. As well as many squares, such as Piazza del Popolo, Piazza di Spagna and Piazza Nicosia. Campo Marzio is also a unique location for shopping lovers. In its streets you'll discover fine jewellery shops, ateliers of the most famous Italian and international fashion designers, luxury brands and fashion boutiques.
