Il Campo Marzio Hotel

The Hotel Campo Marzio is a jewel within Palazzo Magnani, an 18th-century building in the heart of Rome. It offers suites with an eclectic character and lively tones.

The star of the hotel is the Borghese Lounge Bar, where guests can be pampered from the moment they arrive with a welcome drink on offer. The Borghese experience continues in the evenings with the possibility of tasting Italian liqueurs and participating in the numerous evenings.

The Borghese legend originated in 1700 in Rome in a piazza in the city centre. It tells of a beautiful and charming woman named Lucina who decided to devote herself to works of charity, taking care of the most needy and making her patrician home in Campo Marzio a place of welcome and listening. One day, a kind and rich gentleman from the Borghese family who had his alchemist's workshop right on Campo Marzio saw her and fell madly in love with her. He began to court her, but in vain.

Months passed, but Lucina refused any invitation despite the elegance and education of the alchemist, who had no peace except to see her walking the streets in front of his shop. So Mr Borghese began to study and work tirelessly in search of a mysterious herb capable of making her fall in love with him until one lucky day he found the alchemic combination he was looking for and with the excuse of a good deed, invited Lucina into his workshop. The woman tasted the elixir of love and fell into the arms of the gentleman.

To this day, Borghese continues to hold within it that magical atmosphere of a place that melted an enchantment and gave birth to a Love, and carefully guards, sharing with you, the secrets to cure bad thoughts.
